Olga Baumert is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer. Originally from Poland, she studied Fine Art and Jewellery before moving to the UK where she received her degree in Graphic Design and Illustration at De Montfort University.

Currently living and working in Leicester, she produces artwork in a wide range of media: gouache, watercolour, ink, pencil as well as digital. Olga believes that the best outcome for a project is achieved by an individual approach that allows her to be inspired each time.

“When I start a drawing or painting I am usually trying to capture emotions I feel at that moment or ones that follow me for a longer period of time. It is mostly because every piece of art, illustration or design that draws my attention contains some thought, captures a moment, or makes me think ‘ I could go inside that painting and never come back’ I would like my work to do that to people.”
